Add an Expander to a page (written instructions)

This tutorial explains how to add an Expander to a GPsurgery.net Flexi (formerly Classic) website. Ensure you are logged into your GPsurgery.net website. The black admin toolbar should be visible at the top of the screen.

Go to the page where you would like to add an Expander. Select Edit Page from the admin toolbar.

You are now in the page editor. Paste the following text into the main editor:


[gps_accordion accordion_number="one" accordion_title="Test Accordion"]

In the first set of speech marks, ensure the number one is written out in full.

In the second set of speech marks, add the title of your Expander.

On a new line, you can now add the content you'd like to add to your expander

Once you have added all your content, paste the following on a new line:


[/gps_accordion]


NOTE: make sure you paste without formatting.


On mac: [cmd + shift + v]


On PC: [ctrl + shift + v]

To add a second expander, paste in the following:


[gps_accordion accordion_number="two" accordion_title="Test Accordion"]


NOTE: make sure you paste without formatting.


On mac: [cmd + shift + v]


On PC: [ctrl + shift + v]

Ensure that two is written out in full in the first set of speech marks. You can now add your title and copy as before.

Once you have added all your content, paste the following onto a new line:


[/gps_accordion]


NOTE: make sure you paste without formatting.


On mac: [cmd + shift + v]


On PC: [ctrl + shift + v]


Once you have made any final changes, select the blue Update button from the Publish box.

Your page will now display with two expanders.

You can add more expanders by adding a different number into the first set of speech marks.
